Serious knee and shoulder injuries have hit Robinson |
Wales centre Jamie Robinson will make a surprise return to the Cardiff Blues side this Saturday to play his first game for more than a year. He was meant to play for the Cardiff RFC club side in their Welsh Premier game with Neath at the Arms Park.
But an injury to Blues full-back Nick Macleod has seen Robinson, 25, called straight back into the senior side.
Robinson, the Blues' player of the year in 2003/4, has since been plagued by serious shoulder and knee injuries.
The last of his 13 caps was won against Scotland in August 2003, and he sat on the bench at Twickenham in the 2004 Six Nations.
