Wales target Craig White has turned down the chance to replace Andrew Hore as the national fitness coach. White has opted instead to take a break to travel, but is tipped to eventually link up with his former London Wasps coach Warren Gatland at Waikato Chiefs.
White was one of two fitness and conditioning coaches employed by Sir Clive Woodward during the Lions' recent tour of New Zealand.
New Zealander Hore will leave Wales after this autumn's Test series.
