Cardiff Blues have named Allan Lewis as their regional rugby co-ordinator. The former Warriors assistant coach has been charged with spreading their regional rugby message in the valleys.
Pontypridd legend Dale McIntosh has been given responsibility for the academy and development, alongside Justin Burnell and Steve Richards.
Lewis' position was originally offered to former Warriors head coach Lynn Howells, but he chose to take up a coaching job with Leonessa of Italy.
The Blues have also appointed Chris Coombs as their academy fitness coach.
The appointments are part of the Cardiff-based side's attempts to integrate the old Warriors region and win an extended support base.
Blues chief executive Robert Norster told BBC Sport Wales: "I'm a realist and I know the entrenched views some hold, that's what makes our nation love the game.
"I know there are a lot of cultural and other barriers to break down to win over clubs we've not had relations with in the past.
"But I sincerely hope people see this for what it is, one of the last chances we've got to make the professional game a success."
