Wales' record cap holder Gareth Llewellyn has agreed a one-year deal with French side Narbonne. The switch has been rubber stamped, though the 35-year-old lock awaits a medical at the first division club.
"Gareth is excited about playing in France and starting a new phase of his career," his agent Peter Underhill told BBC Wales Sport.
Llewellyn was transfer listed by the Ospreys in January, despite having a year left on his contract.
Wales backs Stephen Jones (Montferrand) and Gareth Thomas (Toulouse) have already completed close-season moves to French clubs.
National captain Colin Charvis played for Tarbes last season, but has now secured a transfer to Newcastle Falcons. Each of those players have been allowed to continue playing for Wales, but Llewellyn, who won his 90th cap against South Africa, may find his international desires count against him.
''My main objective is to ensure Gareth continues playing at the top level," said Underhill.
''I am also keen to ensure he is given every chance to be able to continue his international career."
