Pontypridd marked their last home game at Sardis Road before merging with Bridgend with a deserved win over Llanelli. Once again Ponty favourite Neil Jenkins controlled the game, collecting 19 points via a quality kicking display.
Llanelli opened the scoring with just three minutes of the game played.

The home side then kicked into life thanks to the boot of Jenkins.
After a long period of pressure, Jenkins made sure his side got their rewards by slotting over a well-taken drop goal.
Jenkins then put Ponty into the lead in with a 24-metre penalty.
On a wet night in Sardis Road, play descended into a scrappy affair with both side trading errors on a greasy surface.

Ponty increased their lead just before the break. Shaun James fed wing Richard Fussell who sprinted over for a well deserved try.
Jenkins added a penalty after the conversion, but in injury time the Scarlets cut the deficit with a try by Tal Selley.
The second half started like the first. Jenkins struck a 35-meter touchline penalty as well as a 40-metre goal to increase Ponty's lead.
Llanelli did reply with a try by Gareth Bowen which was converted by Neil Boobyer.
The game saw each side add further scores in the last quarter. Pontypridd's Shaun James try match with another try from Taliesin Selly for the Scarlets.
The wins sent the Ponty fans home happy, the last game they were to witness at Sardis Road before the introduction of provincial rugby.
