As a scrum-half, you're the link between the forwards and the backs.
It's probably the most important position on the field.
I believe a scrum-half should be able to read the game and make decisions on when to attack; not just be the player who passes and kicks the ball.
It's easy to play against someone like that. The scrum-half should have ambition.

For me, the most important skill is to be able to organise yourself and the rest of your team.
You decide when to attack and take options and your team will follow you.
You obviously have to be a good passer, but I think you have to be able to understand and read the game.
I think this is where England are going wrong with their scrum-halves.
They are all good players, but they play behind a very dominant pack, so they often just pass the ball to the rest of the backs to make the attack.
But the mark of a really world class scrum-half is sniffing a chance or a gap through the tightest of defence.
