Alfredo Lalanne played most the first Test against Scotland

Argentina have made three changes to their squad ahead of Saturday's second Test against Scotland in Mar del Plata.

Scotland won Saturday's first Test 26-14 in Tucuman.

Beagles Bordeaux winger Rafael Carballo, Tucuman RC second rower Santiago Guzman and Dax scrum-half Nicolas Vergallo join the squad.

London Irish scrum-half Alfredo Lalanne, Montpellier prop Juan Figallo and Universitario La Plata second rower Mariano Galarza drop out.

Lalanne played most of the first Test as Argentina suffered their first-ever defeat at the Estadio Monumental Jose Fierro in Tucaman.

Galarza was an unused substitute, while Figallo did not feature at all.

And Argentina head coach Santiago Phelan has warned his players that they will have to improve dramatically to avoid back-to-back defeats.

"We have many aspects of the game to improve, such as discipline and the number of penalties we gave away," he said.

"However, we had some good movements in the first half, we took the initiative and scored two tries.

"Anyway, we failed to keep possession and we were tired from defending too much."

Scotland coach Andy Robinson's line-up for the second Test at the Estadio Jose Maria Minella is expected to be revealed on Wednesday.
