Hadden shares a joke with Andy Robinson (centre) and Sean Lineen |
Scotland head coach Frank Hadden has expressed his delight at having Andy Robinson and Sean Lineen on board for the national team's tour of Argentina. Edinburgh boss Robinson and his Glasgow counterpart Lineen recently joined the Scotland coaching team. And Hadden has praised their input since taking up their roles. "I think we have the sort of experience in the coaching team that we know exactly how to get the most out of this fortnight," Hadden told BBC Scotland. The addition of Lineen and Robinson followed a poor Six Nations campaign where Scotland only narrowly avoided the wooden spoon. Hadden said: "Guys like Andy and Sean have tremendous experience. They add value in terms of one-to-ones with the players and just picking up little things here and there." On tour in Argentina the Scots will play two tests against the Pumas - the first in Rosario on 7 June and the second in Buenos Aires on 14 June. Hadden explained how his side will prepare once in Argentina. "We have had a full week's training, which is something we never had at the start of the Six Nations. "So in many respects we are further down the road now than we were for about four or five weeks in the Six Nations. "I'm quite happy with how things have gone and we are very confident going out to Argentina."
