Murray is delighted to be back after a calf injury |
Scotland prop Euan Murray believes the fixture schedule for this year's RBS Six Nations championship has given the Scots a better chance of success. Frank Hadden's men open their campaign against defending champions France and also face England at Murrayfield, with away trips to Wales, Ireland and Italy.
"The way the draw is this year I think it's a big advantage for us so we have to make the most of that," Murray said.
"There's a lot of self-belief in the squad and now it's time to do a job."
The Scots are outsiders to win this year's championship and Murray - who plays for Northampton Saints - believes that could also work in their favour.
"I think we perform well when we're underdogs," he added.

"It's a massive opportunity to keep building and I think it'll be a good game on Sunday. "France have a combination of youth and experience as well as a new coach and that can have a positive effect on the team."
Murray has just recovered from a calf injury that kept him out of Hadden's training squad a fortnight ago but is now fully fit and available for selection.
"It's good to be back and to be back in Scotland and I've been working very hard with the physio," he said.
"I was worried I'd miss the whole Six Nations because of the calf strain but after getting it scanned, it's looking positive."
"Hopefully if I get through training this week I'll be ready for the French match. But I'm just taking it each day as it comes."
