Rob Dewey and Dave Hewett of the Edinburgh Gunners are to receive keyhole surgery. The players were both injured during their club's defeat by London Wasps in Saturday's Heineken Cup clash.
Dewey (shoulder) and Hewett (knee) were examined by physio Gordon Mackay and a decision has been made for the pair to receive treatment as soon as possible.
Both players will rejoin the Gunners' medical team for full recovery after the surgery has been completed.
Meanwhile, Allan Jacobsen's condition is steadily improving after the player damaged his knee during Edinburgh's Boxing Day game against Border Reivers.
