Jon Petrie missed Scotland autumn Test series |
Scotland and Glasgow Warriors have been given a major boost with the return to action of back-row forward Jon Petrie. The Glasgow captain has not played since suffering a shoulder injury in the first match of the season in September against the Dragons.
"I'm really pleased to be starting as it's been a long slog getting back from this injury," said Petrie.
"Now I am just looking forward to having a good January and getting in a few solid games for Glasgow."
Petrie, who underwent surgery to his shoulder, will face Border Reivers in the Celtic League match at Netherdale, Galashiels, on Saturday.
The 29-year-old missed Scotland's autumn Test series due to the problem but is now looking for a return to full fitness with Glasgow ahead of the RBS Six Nations.
