Scotland have been handed a chance to defeat the Auld Enemy in the opening stages of the IRB Hong Kong Sevens later this month. Rob Moffat's team have been drawn with England, Georgia and China in Pool B for the Far East tournament, which takes place between 26 and 28 March.
Scotland open their schedule against Georgia on day one of the tournament before facing champions England and the Chinese on the following day.
The Scottish squad will then face New Zealand, Argentina and Malaysia in the opening phase of the Singapore Sevens a week later.
