Samoa drop Fa'atua
Samoa wing Lome Fa'atua
Fa'atua was penalised for his sin-binning
Wing Lome Fa'atua has been dropped by Samoa for their game against Georgia because of his lack of discipline.

Fa'atua scored a stunning try in the 60-13 win against Uruguay but was later sin-binned for a dangerous tackle.

And coach John Boe revealed he had left out the talented runner to teach him a lesson.

Boe said: "We do look harshly on yellow cards as we explained to the players that their being sin-binned could cost the team 10 points.

"We're going to give Lome the opportunity to force his way back into the side, but we wanted to send a message to the players that nothing is set in concrete."

His place in the starting line-up has been taken by Ron Fanuatanu.

In the only other change to the 22-man squad, Siaosi Vaili comes onto the bench in place of Des Tuiavi'i.

Boe added: "Siaosi is a big strong number six while Des is more mobile. It's not about picking the best 15 players. It's about selecting the best combinations."

Samoa: T Vili; R Fanuatanu, T Fanolua, B Lima, S Tagicakibau; E Va'a, S So'oialo; K Lealamanu'a, J Meredith, J Tomuli; O Palepoi, L Lafaiali'i; P Poulous, M Fa'asavalu, S Sititi
Replacements: M Schwalger, S Lemalu, K Viliamu, S Vaili, D Tyrell, D Rasmussen, D Feaunati
