Namibia fullback Desmond Snyders has been ruled out of the World Cup after breaking his collar bone in training. A Namibian team spokesman said Snyders broke his right collarbone when he fell awkwardly during a training session.
He was taken to hospital where X-rays revealed the fracture, ruling him out of the World Cup, which starts on 10 October.
Uncapped full-back Deon Grunschloss has been brought in to replace Snyders.
Snyders only made his test debut in August, coming on as a replacement in Namibia's 82-13 win over Uganda, but did enough to convince the selectors to include him the squad.
Namibia open their Pool A campaign against Argentina in Gosford on 14 October.
