Namibia have faced with numerous problems

Namibia Rugby Union president Dirk Conradie said Waterson will remain in charge despite a revolt in the training camp, which saw two players and an assistant coach withdrawing from the squad.

"There is no way we can take another coach to Australia," said Conradie. "The players did not appoint the coach. The rugby union appointed the coach."

Star winger Riaan van Wyk and utility back Vincent Dreyer withdrew from the squad and assistant coach Paul Kaplan resigned after Namibia's match against Kenya in Nairobi last month.

The trio had criticised the tactics and long absences from the team by the coach, who is based in neighbouring South Africa.

Van Wyk announced that he would not be available for the national team as long as the controversial Kiwi remained as coach.
