Rudie van Vuuren has been named in his second World Cup squad of the year after being included in Namibia's 30-man rugby squad.
Van Vuuren, who represented his country at the Cricket World Cup, is one of 11 survivors from the last World Cup to be named in the squad.
Namibia Rugby Union president Dirk Conradie also confirmed Dave Waterson will remain in charge despite a training-camp revolt in the build up to the tournament.
The disagreement saw two players and an assistant coach withdraw from the squad.
"There is no way we can take another coach to Australia," said Conradie.
"The players did not appoint the coach. The rugby union appointed the coach."
The trio had criticised Waterson's tactics and claimed he had spent too much time at his base in South Africa.
Centre Corne Powell will be vice captain, having been replaced as skipper by number eight Sean Furter.
Namibia are in Pool A with champions Australia, Argentina, Ireland and Romania.
