Agustin Pichot was frustrated at his side's performance |
Argentina captain Agustin Pichot said his team had only themselves to blame after falling to a 24-8 defeat against Australia. The Pumas were widely expected to run the defending champions close, but ultimately disappointed in a scrappy game at Sydney's Telstra Stadium.
"It was a tough match, at some stages we had it," the scrum-half said.
"They didn't run over us but we struggled a bit and lost our composure." The South Americans scored there only try of the match through Ignacio Corleto in the second-half.
But they never looked like upsetting a Wallaby team that also failed to sparkle.
