Argentina were the first team to arrive in Australia ahead of the fifth Rugby World Cup. The first batch of the Pumas' squad landed in Sydney on Monday morning with the second group due to follow on Wednesday.
Argentina kick off the competition when they take on reigning champions and hosts Australia at the end of next week.
The remaining 18 visiting teams are scheduled to touch down in Australia over the next few days.
The Wallabies have already begun preparations at their training camp on the New South Wales coast.
They will move to Sydney two days before their tie with Argentina.
Clive Woodward's England, who top the world rankings, arrive in Perth on Friday.
Wales and Scotland are both due to land Down Under on Tuesday to set up their training camps.
Tournament favourites New Zealand will be the last team to arrive when they make the short trip to Melbourne on 8 October.
