Horstmann was named Warriors' player-of-the-year in 2006/07 |
Worcester Warriors back row Kai Horstmann has signed a new three-year deal at Sixways. The 27-year-old, who has played 96 games for the Guinness Premiership side, will stay at the club until 2012. "I am delighted that Kai has committed himself for another three years," director of rugby Mike Ruddock said. "Kai is reaching the peak of his powers and I'm sure over the next three years he will continue to develop as a player and as a leader." Horstmann joined Worcester from Harlequins in May 2005 and captained the side while Pat Sanderson was out with a leg injury. He has played for England Saxons and went on their tour of North America in July 2006.
