Worcester Warriors scrum-half Ryan Powell requires surgery on a knee injury and will be out for three weeks.

Nick Runciman would have replaced him on the bench for Saturday's home Premiership game with Gloucester but he has a hamstring problem.

Johnny Arr will now be among the replacements, where he will probably be joined by a fit-again Rico Gear.

Welsh international prop Chris Horsman is likely to be out for the rest of the season due to his ankle problem.
