Worcester's dedicated fans have impressed earn Stanley |
Worcester Warriors academy manager Andrew Stanley has praised the supporters who turn out for A games. A crowd of over 1,700 saw the Warriors second string beaten by Leeds and Stanley says the players really appreciate the crowd.
"The support was absolutely fantastic and they are a real credit to the club.
"It really does mean so much to the players that they come out to support us and I know every player is determined to repay that backing."
Stanley says they are also looking forward to battling it out with Leeds again after suffering a rare home defeat in the A League.
Warriors lost 36-22 on home soil, despite a late fightback after a brace of tries from Aisea Havili and Shane Drahm.

Stanley admitted his players had missed an opportunity to claim a victory that would have kept the pressure on Northern Conference leaders Northampton Wanderers, with several wasted chances.
"We had a strong side out for the game, but failed to take the opportunity to put some pressure on Northampton," he said.
"It leaves us looking to consolidate our bid for the runners-up spot in the A League, and we are confident we can do that.
"The players were all very disappointed afterwards, and we have to make sure that some of the rugby we played in the middle of each half is maintained for longer periods.
"Now we look forward to the away game next week at Leeds, and putting right that performance."
