It's not rocket science - Ruddock
Mike Ruddock
Mike Ruddock and his players are angry
Worcester Warriors director of rugby Mike Ruddock admits it was a very unhappy dressing room after Sunday's defeat at Saracens.

In contrast to their first league win of the season against Bristol a fortnight before, Worcester turned in a lack-lustre display.

And Ruddock says he and the team were angry about the performance.

"We put pressure on ourselves and it wasn't rocket science, we just needed to get hold of the ball and keep it."

Warriors did not carry on the momentum they had gained against Bristol. And Ruddock says after a decent start they just fell away.

"Our basics let us down," he said. "We missed kicks to touch, we knocked on and our penalty count was poor as well.

"They dominated the first half, lots of territory, lots of possession.

"When they had a player sin-binned and we didn't score, then Pat Sanderson was binned and they got a try, and that was maybe the difference.

"Our defensive line-out was good, but it wasn't until the game was lost that we saw the best of our team and we developed some tempo.

"We were not happy in the changing rooms. We dropped our standards."
