Worcester Warriors hooker Chris Fortey has agreed a new two-year deal with the Premiership strugglers.

The 31-year-old, who came to Sixways in the summer of 2005 and has made 13 starts this season, said he he was keen to remain with the club.

"Worcester showed great faith in me when they signed me two years ago from Gloucester when I had come back from a broken leg," said Fortey.

"There was never any doubt that I wanted to stay."
