Eddy joined the Warriors in the summer of 2005 |
Worcester have sacked Australian head coach Anthony Eddy after their dismal start to the season. The Warriors are rock bottom of the Guinness Premiership after losing all eight matches so far this season.
Owner Cecil Duckworth told the club's website: "Anthony Eddy has brought a lot of professionalism to the club.
"But, unfortunately, the style of playing he has been working on has not produced results, and we've certainly lacked penetration."
Eddy joined the Warriors in the summer of 2005 from Queensland Reds and guided them to eighth in the Premiership.
Worcester have rearranged their coaching structure, with skills coach Billy McGinty stepping into the role of backs coach.
John Brain will continue as director of rugby and forwards coach, with Duckworth taking a more active role in player recruitment.
Former England defence coach Phil Larder, who joined the club earlier this month in a short-term role, will take what is described as an "increasing role" with Brain on defence.

Duckworth, who has ploughed millions into the club since taking charge, insisted the changes would help Worcester turn around their season.
"There's no doubt that the situation can be recovered. I am confident the players will respond. They are eager, hard-working and, I believe, capable," he said.
"With changes to our style of play, and having the benefit of the players we have lost to the international scene, I'm confident the result will be very positive."
