The match at Ravenhill has been called off because of a frozen pitch
Friday night's Magners League match between Ulster and the Ospreys has been postponed because of a frozen pitch. The playing surface at Ravenhill was inspected on Wednesday morning and, with no thaw expected over the next few days, the game was called off. The pitch had been covered but it was not enough to protect it from the prolonged freezing conditions. Officials from the two clubs will now attempt to find a new date in the fixture schedule for the match.
