Ulster Ravens defeat Bedford Blues 29-3 in their opening match in the British and Irish Cup at Ravenhill. Ulster Ravens clinched a comfortable win over Bedford in Friday's British & Irish Cup opener at Ravenhill. Early tries by Tommy Seymour and Declan Fitzpatrick - both converted by Niall O'Connor - helped Ulster lead 14-0. Brad Davies replied with a Bedford penalty but further Chris Cochrane and Andi Kyriacou tries helped Ulster move in a 26-3 lead. Niall O'Connor added a further penalty before the interval but there were no further scores in the second half.
