Ulster have injury worries over Simon Danielli and Chris Henry ahead of Friday night's Magners League game against the Scarlets at Ravenhill. Lions fly-half Stephen Jones hopes to overcome a slight Achilles injury in time to line out for the Scarlets. The 31-year-old's fellow Lion Matthew Rees could make a first start, having come off the bench in the Blues defeat. Injuries to Scarlets captain Mark Jones (dead leg) and tight-head prop Rhys Thomas (knee) will be monitored. If fit, Stephen Jones is in line to make his first appearance of the season. "Ulster is important before Europe, to get a win on board would be very good," said Scarlets vice-captain David Lyons. "We've lost three on the bounce but we've taken a lot of positives from all of them. | 606: DEBATE |
"It's a sign of the young side we've got. The challenge is to be more consistent and dictate the games for longer. "I've definitely got a lot of confidence in this team's ability. We're really confident it's going to click soon, it's just around the corner."
