 Andy Maxwell scored twice against the Borders |
Winger Andy Maxwell ran in two first-half tries as Ulster defeated the Borders 36-7 in a pre-season run-out at St Andrew's University on Friday. Garry Law opened the scoring for the Borders with Callum MacRae converting before Maxwell's brace put Ulster ahead with David Humphreys adding the extras. Ulster controlled the remaining perioda with David Pollock, Scott Young and Kieron Dawson touching down. Mike Pehi, who has been training with the Ulster squad, also dotted down.
