 Saracens' victory over Harlequins at Wembley in April attracted 47,000 fans
Saracens have confirmed they will play two more matches at Wembley Stadium this season after the success of the innovation in their last campaign. The games are a Heineken Cup group clash with Leinster on 16 October and a league match with Wasps on Boxing Day. All four of Sarries' Wembley games last season attracted crowds of more than 40,000, with 47,106 watching their victory over Harlequins in April. The St Albans-based club play their home games at Watford's Vicarage Road. Saracens chairman Nigel Wray said: "We are delighted to take these two outstanding matches to Wembley and we look forward to two more fantastic occasions." As well as Sarries' Boxing Day fixture against Wasps, supporters in the London area will also be able to take in Harlequins against London Irish at Twickenham on 27 December. Quins attracted nearly 77,000 to Twickenham for their match on the same day against Wasps last year. Wasps will also play Bath at Twickenham again this season on 23 April, having attracted more than 60,000 to the same St George's Day fixture last season.
