Burger joins from Super 14 champions the Bulls

Premiership leaders Saracens have signed Namibia forward Jacques Burger from Super 14 champions the Bulls.

The 26-year-old back rower, who has won 25 caps, trained with his new team-mates ahead of Saturday's league match with Leicester at Vicarage Road.

Saracens boss Brendan Venter said: "Jacques is not only a quality player but he's also a quality individual and we're delighted he has joined us.

"I've worked with him before and he can play across the back row."
