Seymour is not expected to return to action until early November

Saracens flanker Dave Seymour has been ruled out for six-to-eight weeks with knee ligament damage sustained on the opening day of the season.

The 23-year-old open-side was taken off at Twickenham midway through the second half against Harlequins on Saturday.

Saracens director of rugby Eddie Jones told the club's website: "It's a blow for the squad and for Dave.

"He has already started his rehab and it won't be long before he's back in full training."
