Saracens' promising young prop Tom Mercey has signed a new three-year deal with the Premiership club. The England under-20 international's new deal comes the day after centre Adam Powell also signed a new deal.
Director of rugby Alan Gaffney said: "Tom is one of the most outstanding front-row talents I've seen.
"He has been a vital member of the first-team squad this season and he's got the potential to be a fantastic player for Saracens."
Powell, who is on duty with the England under-20 side, is a regular member of the first-team squad and scored a try in the 22-9 win over Sale.
Gaffney said: "He's handling himself very well in the Premiership and has proved he can play at the highest level.
"He's an outstanding young talent as he is proving for us."
