Hill hopes to return to action by the end of the month |
England and Saracens flanker Richard Hill is back in full training after 18 months sidelined by injury. Hill, who has 71 England caps, has not played since the Lions tour to New Zealand in the summer of 2005.
"I've been tackled, taken part in mauls and rucks etc and just been back into general rugby really, which is great," Hill told Saracens' official website.
"I'm not getting any reactions during or after these sessions, which is also fantastic."
After so long out of the game, Hill is not taking anything for granted but hopes to return to action by mid to late October.
"Obviously I'm still being cautious of the recovery work I have to do but things are looking good," he said.
"The more sessions I get under the belt, the more confident I will get and then we can start thinking about taking part in a match.
"I haven't set my sights on a game date as yet as I am still taking it day by day and week by week."
