Sale picked up where they left off after last week's club record victory with another big Challenge Cup win.

Tim Walsh's boot put the hosts in front but Sale replied with three Charlie Hodgson penalties, a Tom Brady brace and Nick Macleod and Mark Cueto tries.

Walsh added three more but after the break Macleod and Cueto scored again Rob Miller converted his own try.

Hodgson added five more points for the Sharks and Walsh replied with a consolation penalty for Petrarca.
