Sale Sharks have signed utility back Matty James. The 23-year-old New Zealander played in this season's National One campaign for Cinderford, and had a spell for Welsh side Neath in 2009. Sale Sharks head coach Mike Brewer said: "I'm very pleased that Matty is coming to the club. "He's a lively threat from midfield or full-back, who runs hard and offloads well. When at fly-half, his hanging restart kicks will be a threat." Chief executive Mick Hogan added: "I'm sure that Matty's all-action style and adventurous skills will quickly make him a favourite with the club's fans. | 606: DEBATE |
"He's the type of young, dynamic performer who can get you on the edge of your seat. "We have more signings to announce this week, with news of off-field changes following in the near future."
