Croall trained with the Sharks for the first time on Monday

Sale Sharks have signed prop forward Aston Croall from Harlequins on a three-year deal.

The 25-year-old began his career with Saracens where he gained England honours at under-19 and under-21 level.

Croall also captained Harlequins A League side in last season's final against Leicester Tigers.

Sharks coach Mike Brewer said: "He is a strong scrummager and accurate defender. Aston has the added bonus in that he can also play hooker."
