Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe will link up in Toulon with his old Sale coach

Sale scrum-half Richard Wigglesworth has paid tribute to departing Argentine star Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe.

The 27-year-old Sharks skipper has become part of the exodus to France joining former Sale coach Philippe Saint-Andre at Toulon.

Wigglesworth told BBC Radio Manchester: "It's not going to be easy to fill the shoes of the players going especially Juan Lobbe.

"He's one of the best players I've ever played with and a legend of a bloke."

He added: "I am sure we'll be busy on the recruiting front but it is going to be a tough job though, hopefully we'll get it right - I'm sure we will."
