New Sale scrum-half Dwayne Peel is beginning to feel at home with the club, following his summer switch from Llanelli Scarlets.

The Welsh star, 26, is set to make his debut in Friday's friendly against Leeds Carnegie at Edgeley Park after recovering from a shoulder injury.

He told BBC Radio Manchester: "Everyone here has been very welcoming and made me feel right at home.

"The boys have been great and I've really settled in well."

He continued: "It takes me back to when I first started at Llanelli - you have to keep your head down and work hard. I'm very much looking forward to getting the games underway now."
