McLeod will join Sale at the start of next season

Sale have signed utility back Nick Macleod from Cardiff Blues on a two-year deal for next season.

Macleod, 25, has scored more than 200 points in his 80 games for the Blues.

"I've known Nick for a few years and he has decided to join us as he wants to play regularly at the highest level," said Sale head coach Kingsley Jones.

Macleod added: "I'm really looking forward to joining. I went to school with Lee Thomas and he and Ben Evans have told me a lot about the club."
