Jamie Nutbrown scored one of the Ospreys two tries |
Tries from Jamie Nutbrown and Dan Biggar were not enough for the Ospreys as Gloucester secured victory at the Liberty Stadium. Henry Trinder, Luke Narraway and Matt Cox claimed the visitors' three tries with Tim Taylor kicking one conversion. Ex-Cardiff Blues fly-half Nicky Robinson kicked the other two along with a penalty for Gloucester. Conversions from Biggar and Dai Flanagan rounded off the rest of the Ospreys points. Meanwhile, Ospreys will play at Bridgend's Brewery Field for the first time when they face Leicester Tigers in the LV= Cup. The match takes place on Friday, 12 November as Wales host South Africa in Cardiff on the Saturday and Swansea are home to Middlesbrough on the Sunday. Playing at the Liberty Stadium on the Thursday was ruled out because of poor attendances last season. "We are all extremely excited about taking this game on the road" said Ospreys managing director Roger Blyth.
