The Ospreys may move their two LV= Cup home fixtures away from the Liberty Stadium next season because of poor crowds at Thursday night matches.

Bridgend's Brewery Field and Neath's Gnoll are two options.

The games were held on Thursdays due to fixture clashes with Swansea City, but on one occasion attracted barely 2,500.

"We... reserve the right to stage the game at an alternative venue... if we believe it's in the best interest of all concerned," a statement said.

"But we point out that season ticket holders are getting two extra games because of the additional fixtures in the Magners League against Italian sides."
