Barry Davies won one Wales cap as a replacement against Ireland in 2006 |
Ospreys full-back Barry Davies requires a second operation on a groin problem after aggravating the injury during the Magners League defeat at Edinburgh. The 29-year-old, a summer signing from Brive, needed keyhole surgery in December and had only just returned. "Barry exacerbated the groin problem that had previously kept him out," said Ospreys physio Chris Towers "The verdict was that the best course of treatment for him now is surgical intervention to release the tendons." Towers added that former Wales full-back Davies "will undergo surgery as soon as possible".
