Ryan Jones is left devastated after the final whistle |
Ryan Jones says the Ospreys crumbled under the pressure as they were knocked out of the Heineken Cup, losing 19-10 to Saracens in the quarter-finals. The Ospreys captain said: "They did their homework on us and we came off second best in facets of the game. "We failed to generate any sort of momentum and I think we all were affected (by the pressure). "We were scratching our heads at times but that's what the big match does to people sometimes." Ospreys coach Lyn Jones admitted he may have got his tactics wrong. | 606: DEBATE |
"There are 100 ways of playing rugby and perhaps the one we selected to play today was not good enough," he said. "We didn't play very well, we dropped a lot of balls, which is unrecognisable for us sometimes and they made life very difficult."
