Ospreys look in good shape to begin their Magners League defence after a comfortable win against Bristol. Despite missing their World Cup calls, plus Justin Marshall (leg strain) and Gavin Henson (illness), they still had enough to see off the visitors.
Aled Brew, Lee Byrne and Martin Roberts claimed Ospreys tries, while Andrew Blowers and Alex Clarke - late on - replied for the English hosts.
Ospreys start in earnest at the Arms Park next Friday against Cardiff Blues.
Bristol have one more friendly, away to Harlequins next Saturday, to find some form before their English Premiership season starts on 16 September, when Leicester Tigers arrive at the Memorial Stadium.
