Ospreys fly-half Matthew Jones has won one Wales cap |
Ospreys fly-half Matthew Jones will join English National League One side Moseley on a six-month loan. The 23-year-old, who will remain at Billesley Common until 31 January 2008, could also feature at some point for Guinness Premiership side Gloucester.
An agreement between Gloucester and Moseley enables players to be loaned between the two clubs.
Jones, capped once by Wales against Canada, has fallen down the fly-half pecking order at the Ospreys.
The Magners League champions have James Hook and Shaun Connor as their preferred number 10s, with Gavin Henson also an option.
"Although I am leaving the boys for a period of time, I recognize that I need game time and this arrangement with Moseley offers me that," Jones told the Ospreys website.
"This gives me the opportunity to continue my development by training with Gloucester RFC, which will hopefully give me the prospect of Guinness Premiership experience."
