Northampton Saints' Ben Foden wants attacking rugby

Northampton's Ben Foden says the Saints need to win more ball and reassert themselves as an attacking force.

The 25-year-old full-back has seen his side suffer back-to-back defeats to Harlequins and Leicester Tigers.

Foden told BBC Radio Northampton: "It is frustrating - we didn't have too much of the ball [against Leicester].

"It shows how good our defence has been, but if you're going to beat the top teams, you need a good chunk of the ball to do things with it."

Saints are the third highest try scorers in the Aviva Premiership this season, with 29.

"It's something we need to address and hopefully we'll get things right," added Foden.
