Dickson joined Northampton Saints from Newcastle Falcons |
Northampton Saints scrum-half Lee Dickson says they need to stay more patient as they prepare for their second Heineken Cup fixture. The Saints narrowly beat Castres in Friday's opener and are now away to Edinburgh on Saturday at Murrayfield. "It's about keeping hold of the ball, simple play and not going for the killer punch straight away," Dickson told BBC Radio Northampton. "We need to re-cycle the ball, do the phases and then the gaps will open." Dickson added: "With the new laws it helps the attacking team - it's easier to keep hold of the ball. "We won whilst not playing pretty against Castres, which is a sign of a good team and we move on now to Edinburgh away. "The Heineken Cup is the tops. You come up against great teams week in week out."
