Northampton release fringe trio | | Northampton have released Simon Emms, David Akinluyi and Rhodri Davies as they were unlikely to be used by the club for the rest of the season. The trio left early to maximise their chances of earning deals elsewhere, and Emms is already training with Bath. "It was unlikely they would play for the first team again this season," said head coach Paul Grayson. "We felt it was fairer to be up front to give them a chance to seek out more active roles at other clubs."
