Nicky Griffiths came off the bench to score for the Dragons

London Irish back-row George Stowers came off the bench to score a brace of tries and help them to a pre-season win away to Newport Gwent Dragons.

Wing Topsy Ojo also crossed the line for the Exiles, while fly-half Ryan Lamb kicked 18 points.

The Dragons also looked to their replacements to get them moving on the scoresheet, with David Bishop and Nicky Griffiths both claiming tries.

Fly-half Jason Tovey kicked eight points and Matthew Jones another two.
