Wales Under-20 scrum-half Rob Lewis has left Newport Gwent Dragons to join London Welsh. The 21-year-old Dragons Academy product has played 12 times for the region since his 2007 debut and was a key man in Wales U19s' 2006 Grand Slam side. "I'm delighted to be joining London Welsh," said Lewis, the son of former Welsh Rugby Union boss Steve Lewis. "I've been really impressed with the club's facilities and their desire to break in to the Guinness Premiership." London Welsh head coach Danny Wilson added: "Rob is a young, tall, powerful scrum-half who is physically a handful with an excellent service off both hands. | 606: DEBATE |
"He's come up through the Welsh academy system and we're extremely pleased to bring him to the club, as his signing reflects our ambition for next season."
